There is no better place to hold the abovementioned event than Orchard Cineleisure, an often-perceived hip hangout favourite with the youths today. Armed with a lovely and articulate emcee, a hunk with six pecs and a sexy bikini babe as I-rock ambassadors, the event is all set to rock and roll!
The first act started at 3.20pm, Project Ultrasound managed to stop people on their tracks and take a second look at the four man band with a rock rap persona. The pounding ferocity and raw energy captivated mainly the male audience, leaving them thirsting for more when they ended their 30 minute segment.
Second act by The Sexies was a pleasant contrast to the fierce and raw energy from the previous performance. Chirpy and infectious, this four-piece band not only write, sing and play their own music but are really young! Three of whom are still in junior colleges! Caught off guard with an encore request from the audience, The Sexies did a cover of Pearl Jam's Last Kiss, driving the crowd wild. It is no wonder how The Sexies beat 50 over bands to do the opening act for international band, Hoobastank's concert in Singapore.
During the interval, a game was conducted. Five participants were asked to perform a sexy dance routine on the I-rock bed. Three males and two females had to convince the crowd that they lusted over the I-rock bed. The guys did their stunts to Justin Timberlake's Sexyback, their antics were more amusing than sexy. The girls obviously outshone them with Portishead's Glorybox tune. Sultry Sandie Soh won herself a super-single size I-rock bed value at S$699. The rest of the participants walked away with a 1GB MP3 Player.

The second game was conducted in collaboration with Singapore Press Holdings's ZapCode. 50 lucky participants who redeemed a 256MB MP3 player were put in an e-draw which will pick one lucky winner who must be present at the event. Mr Choong Khai Wai find himself to be that person who's anticipating a pampering time with the I-rock bed.
Ronin started their set fashionably late at 5.10pm. As this will be Ronin's last performance together, there was a huge crowd waiting for them to take centre stage. Levan Wee has officially left the band to promote younger bands. Performing their hit singles - "Money", "Black Maria" and "Do or Die", the crowd went ballistic!
